Strengths:    great customer support, extra spokes, they don't build it until you order it

Weaknesses:    Rear hub is a bit loud.

    Bottom Line:
I am currently swapping these between a TT bike and a road racing bike and they are perfect for this application. I used them in time trials, crits, and road races. They came with extra spokes and pads, which is helpful. Like all other rol wheels, these are *loud* but it's hardly a problem. I get blown around a bit in crosswinds (expected) but other than that, these wheels absolutely scream up and down hills.

The front wheel is radially-laced, but it's far from delicate. I've nailed a few potholes and the wheel seems to take it just fine.

Thus far the 56 seams ok, but I'm wondering if the 58 would be a better fit. I don't have a place nearby that will do a pro-fitting. So far I've been to two shops, one has ... Read More »

    Williams 58 Carbon Clincher

Weight has come down a lot on these; now at 1624 g (claimed) for a full carbon clincher, and only $999. Ceramic bearings, but no other details on the hubs. For the money, is there a better carbon clincher out there? How would you rate the Williams against Reynolds Assault which is about the same ... Read More »

    ROL Carbon 58

Can't find a review of these and doing a search for "ROL" in the Wheels and Tires section comes up with nothing (strange). Has anyone ridden these or seen these in person? Or have you seen any other ROL wheels in person? What's the opinions of these out there? They're light and the price see ... Read More »
