Strengths: Super tough! They dont get affected by croswind and they look sick!Weaknesses: noneBottom Line: Great wheels! I got them 2 years old and basically still new.

Strengths: Strong wheels, stiff, light, good looks, quick acceleration, extremely durable.Weaknesses: Changing tires is a royal pain! By far the most difficult wheels I've ever dealt with in this regard. I've broken countless tire levers trying to get tires off (and back on) these rims.
The appearance is also a little weak, considering the price. There is a visible seem (with slight discoloration) where the two ends of the rim are joined together.
The strengths of these wheels far outweigh these weaknesses.Bottom Line: Solid wheelset. I spec'd the Shimano WH-7700 wheelset on my Airborne Zeppelin, which I bought in July 2001 (that's why I said the wheels cost me nothing, because I didn't buy them separate). I just crossed the 17,000 mile mark as I rode in to work this morning. This is by far the most miles I've ever put on a single pair of wheels (and one bike for that matter, but I did a separate review on my Zeppelin).
These wheels have held up amazingly well in the four years I've ridden them. I've encountered many potholes and railroad tracks in my daily commute, and the wheels have taken the punishment. These wheels do an excellent job of staying true. I got them trued once after getting hit by a car. I've crashed several times since then and the wheels have held up fine.
These wheels are also fast. They accelerate super quickly and do not seem to be too affected by crosswind. They are stable and quiet at all speeds (I've gotten up to 50mph on them).

Strengths: Ride, looks and aerodynamicsWeaknesses: For the price I paid, noneBottom Line: My first aero wheelset. I got off of a high spoke count training wheel. I like these wheels a lot. They are a super smooth ride. The faster you go the better they feel. They seem to accelerate well and keep their momentum once you get them up to speed. While going downhill, I notice myself catching up to the person in front of me by just coasting. They seem to be responsive around the corners and brake well. I have had them almost two years and have had no problems with them. This is a great wheelset for some one who doesn't want to fork out $1,000+ dollars for a carbon wheelset, but still wants a great aerodynamic wheel that will help them pick up some speed. These are fast wheels that handle very well. A great buy for the price, if you shop around.
Favorite Ride: Scenic beach rides by the house.

Strengths: Very Aerodynamic Looks, some will say that the finish is cheap........I do not thnk so.......some other top brands are looks much cheaper with bulky wordings. Did a 5km climb and pretty good feeling...........tried a short straight bumpy road and these wheels will hold.........taking into consideration that I weight 80kgs!!On straight Roads, once you reach 30km........these wheels will move you........!!!Weaknesses: The Hubs should not be in Black Finish.........they should come like the Ultegra or Dura Ace Finish. Other than That........there are just great pair of wheels!!!Bottom Line: Changed to these Wheel Sets about 1 week ago and tried them out a couple of days ago.Great Feeling...........stiff and once you pick speed to about 25kmh.........these wheels will move you. Good on Climbing.Pricing are OK compared to Campys and Mavics which you will need to pay like 50 to 80% more. For recreational and Basic Cyclist, these wheels are great!!

Strengths: Great breaking in the wet (bead-blasted finish gives great control - apparently this does not last forever though - not sure if the breaking surface/finish can be restored?). Fantastic when cornering. Stiff and responsive. (I have not felt so in control for a long time - using conti all-season tyres)
Great rolling resistance ie. virtually none! Much better in cross-winds due to fewer spokes.Weaknesses: Like other reviewers have commented the finish looks a bit cheap at first glance when you consider the price paid. Once on the bike though they look more flash (especially with the spoke-design).
Apparently you also have to watch the brake pads and replace them sooner than with other wheelsets as they'll rub where the spokes join.Bottom Line: Price paid is in AUD currency.
I would like to have upgraded my wheels to the Campy Eurus' but that'll have to wait until I change my groupset over from Shimano.
Having said that I have been quite impressed with these Shimano wheels so far. I had dura-ace hubs on my old wheels (Velocity Deep V rims) but the complete wheelset feels far superior.
Used recently in a 200km event (about 3kms total in climbing) and they really impressed me both on the flats and decending (tested cornering/descending at ~70km/h). I have also done some new hill-climbing TT PBs in my local area with these.
