Bike Setup: Serotta Fierte Steel with 10-speed Ultegra.
Summary: These wheels are smooth rolling and absorb bumps and road chatter. Rough stretches and chip and seal are hardly noticeable.
Strengths: Smooth and absorb bumps and vibrations. Supposed to be good climbers but I have not had a chance to test that yet. Probably added about .5 miles per hour to my average speed due to lighter weight and White Industries hubs. The Veloplugs - highly recommended - make it very easy to install and remove tires and don't wear out like rim tape.
Weaknesses: None really.

Bike Setup: 2005 Specialized Tarmac Comp w/full ultrega drivetrain.
Summary: I'm just a guy in my mid-40's pounding along for mental health and enjoying the physical benefit. The known weak link on my Tarmac was the stock Alex wheels. I wanted a set that were artisan built, unique and reasonalby priced. Found out about Speed Dream from this site. Enjoyed a conversation with Dave Thomas. He listened well and asked intuitive questions. Shortly thereafter, received my set of SD AR-20's equipped with Tune rear hub and American Classic micro front. All black save for the red nipples. Why did I wait? The ride is ethereal. Former bumps are just "kisses". Lateral stiffness is incredible. No more banging the rear brake when out of the saddle. Very stealth looking on my black machine. Am thoroughly pleased.
Favorite Ride: Morrison to Evergreen to Squaw Pass, Colorado

Scott CR1 Limited 54cm, Campy Record Carbon groupset
Serotta Legend Ti, Shimano Dura-Ace groupset
Summary: I purchased this wheelset because I already owned a set of Aerolite Velocity Fusion wheels I got from Dave 5 years ago and they have performed without failure. I've ridden them all over Colorado, Belgium, and France. Raced Boulder-Roubaix several times in them. Yes, they can also take the famed belgian cobbles just like the big guys and never came out of alignment. They are perfect for road races, crits, and training. Put a set of Veloflex Paves or Vredestein Fortezzas (145psi) on and you will fly.
Summary: I purchased the SD AR 20's with the Tune rear hub. These are great wheels. Very light yet very durable. I have hit potholes and big rocks, yet wheels stay perfectly trued. These wheels beat the expensive factory wheels hands down. I can't say enough good things about Speeddream wheels or Dave Thomas. If you are thinking about getting some high end factory wheels, you would be foolish not to look at these. Read the reveiws, other than a couple of misfits, they are nearly perfect and my experience is the same.
Strengths: Light weight and quality build.
Weaknesses: None

Summary: Heard about "Speed Dream" from a friend who has a set and told me to call.Had a nice conversation with Dave in which he assured me that even this, his lightest wheelset would be good for everyday use (I weigh 190 lbs). I was really surprised how different they are from my present wheels, they changed the ride of the bike significantly,("responsive" is an understatement}. Also, they weighed even a little less than claimed! After nearly a year's use I have yet to touch them.
Strengths: Faster and more reliable than others I've tried, really light too{1343gms}.
Weaknesses: None yet
