Bike Setup: Giant carbon w/Dura-ace. Easton carbon bar. Panaracer Messenger 25 all weather tires on the Spinergys.
Summary: Really enjoy the wheels. Combined with smaller lighter tires on my cyclo-cross bike, every hill is now a gear or two faster. As a racing sailor I couldn't resist the PBO spokes (PBO is the super rigging on round the world racers). The feel is very smooth on the micro chatter level, the "noise" of fine stones in the asphalt or concrete is very diminished.
Strengths: Light Wheels that can take curb and pot hole jumping.
Weaknesses: Having to take the tires off to straighten after too many curbs and pot holes.
Similar Products Used: Cane Creek Volos, still my racing set with slicks.

Summary: I equipped my Pinarello Prince in 2001 with Spinergy wheels Aero.
After 8 years, I broke the axle of the rear wheel if ever any problem with these wheels.
Residing in Switzerland and no longer a distributor I spoke to after-sales service of Spinergy.
As it was possible to get parts to repair, he offered me a new wheel for $ 255 delivered in Switzerland.
I just received my new wheel and my bike is back in riding condition.
Again congratulations and thank you for this gesture of goodwill because it is not all manufacturers that you change a wheel after 8 years.
Next year, my new bike will be equipped with Spinergy wheels because I also did not find a quality, durability and comfort such as these wheels.
Strengths: look nice (yellow spokes) very comfortable
Weaknesses: none

Bike Setup: S-Works E5, DA crank/derailuers/brakes, Ultegra Shifters/cassett/chain
Summary: I was dealing with some issues resulting from long bumpy rides with alot of road vibration. Doc said I had to figure out how to reduce the impact or lay off the bike for a month. Ran across a smokin deal on these wheels and was ready to try the PBO spokes to help reduce the shock from my all aluminum frame. These wheels make all the differnce in the world.
Strengths: almost all road feedback is eliminated making for a much more comfortable ride. Fairly stiff and good power transfer.
Weaknesses: None so far
Similar Products Used: Nothing like these

Favorite Ride: Brisbane River Loop, Sydney to Gong
Bike Setup: 2005 Argon18 Radon ('07 Fork), Full Ultegra
Summary: Purchased these wheels to replace my Vuelta Zerolites. Mixed reviews on the net, but a friend bought a pair of Xyclones (MTB wheels) and he loved them.
I've ridden on a few wheels and these felt stiffer than the Zerolites, Shimano Ultegra + Bontrager Race + Bontrager Race Lite; but not as stiff as Bontrager Race X-Lite + A-Class ALX600. That being said, these are stiff wheels.
These are comfortable wheels. The PBO spokes works wonders, the most comfortable wheelset i've used to date. Hands down. The sacrifice in stiffness is worth the comfort.
No issue with the hubs, but my only gripe would be the white spokes get dirty easy (but easily cleaned with some turps/degreaser and a rag). After a year of ownership (at least 200km+ a week), these haven't missed a beat and have not required to be trued yet. I'm a 100kg rider as well.
Build quality appears to be good as well.
Strengths: - Comfortable
- Stiff
- Light
- Looks Great
- No issues with hub
- Cheap as hell! (799 AU)
Weaknesses: - White spokes will get dirty quickly.
