Strengths:    Quality, weight (although they're definitely not going to be used in any big race), durability.

Weaknesses:    The only weakness I can really think of would be if you're a really serious racer - I'm guessing these would be too heavy for you.

Bottom Line:
I've tried to look up reviews on these wheels a few times just to see what others said about them and couldn't find much, so I thought I'd post my experience with them.

I bought a 2000 Marin Argenta a few years ago with a set of Ambrosio Excellence wheels on it. I'm the second owner of this bike and the first owner had it for triathlon training and events. I've used the bike exclusively for hard training and centuries.

After a few thousand miles I have to say these wheels have been great. They've needed minor truing a few times but I've yet to break a spoke, although I'm a fairly light guy (6'1", 160 lbs). Overall they feel light, responsive, and not too aero - I've almost been blown off a cliff face into the ocean before with mildly aero rims, and that just won't do.

If you are considering these rims I'd say go for it. They've got great craftsmanship and look and feel much more handmade than even a lot of the high-priced wheelsets out there.
