Price Paid:  $1300.00 at craig's list

    Favorite Ride:
City Hall to Homestead Bayfront Park

    Bike Setup:
    2000 Cannondale CAAD 4 R800, Zipp 404 with Pro 2 Race tires, Shimano 105

    Summary:
I upgraded to these wheels after using Mavic Kysirium Elite wheels and it made all the difference. These wheels are incredibly stiff and explosive when put on a stiff frame. I am running juniors gears and constantly run out of gears going 30 or so mph, these wheels added another 2-3 mph to that, and they weigh about the same as my mavic wheels so I can still climb the same, but they can add 3-5 mph to the decent. My only problem with them was that the rim tape overlapped itself so I kept getting pinch flats, but that stopped once I replaced the tape. Overall great wheelset that can be bought for a great price.

    Strengths:
Stiff, yet absorb road vibration. Can add 2-4 mph to your top speed on the flat roads. Can add 5 or so mph to your decent speed.

    Weaknesses:
Somewhat pricy unless bought used. Slightly heavier than top of the line thin wheels such as mavic ksyrium sl premium, but weigh the same or less than mid-range wheels. NEED TO HAVE RIM TAPE PERFECT ON THE RIM OR EXPECT PINCH FLATS!!!

Price Paid:  $600.00 at from a friend

    Favorite Ride:
    Eaglecrest Ski area

    Bike Setup:
    2007 Madone, Dura Ace.

    Summary:
Good strong wheels. I bought these from a friend who was a sponsored racer at the end of the '02 season. He had raced them that year, and I've used them for about 12 races or time trials per year since. I decided to post a review as I've never yet even had to true these wheels.

    Strengths:
Very, fast wheels. Nice and stiff.

    Weaknesses:
Cost? I'm too cheap for the current prices.

    Favorite Ride:
    Ancaster - Dundas area

    Bike Setup:
    Cervelo Soloist Carbon, DurAce groupset.

    Summary:
These wheels are just plain fantastic. Quick, zippy, accellerate unbeliveably fast. Worth every cent spent. Very smooth but stiff on the other hand. Matched them with Michelin ProV3 tires. Great combo. It made the bike super fast.

    Strengths:
Stiff but extremely comfy ride. Very, very fast.

    Weaknesses:
Spokes in the rear creaked a lot initially. But they seem to be seated after a while. No weaknesses so far.

    Summary:
Wow!These are fast rims.A bit pricey but worth every penny.I would say it is the best upgrade that I have bought thus far.Their stiff and responsive and it feels as though i'm riding on a cushion.Did I mention Fast?Especially on the decents.I've only had them for about a month but i've noticed a huge difference. They do take a bit more concentration to ride with, compared to other rims I've rode.Watch out for those cross winds. One crosswind blew me 2' left.Completely happy, no problems as of yet...

    Strengths:
Aerodynamic,Carbon Feel,Smooth Hubs, They look amazing, Their clincher,

    Weaknesses:
Price. There were a few bubbles under the decals. Your friends will want to ride them.
