Light, stiff, strong and durable -- and incredibly true. I put 4200 miles on this pair until I wrecked the front wheel on an enormous pothole. The folks at Easton were great about getting me a replacement quickly and at a very good price.
None at all.
A great set of wheels and a great value.

Smooth...great performer...durable.
Came with decals not pressed down on rim on the spoke side. This problem was easily remedied by heating the decals with a hair blower and pressing down.
Bought as a replacement for Matrix ISO-3 wheelset...started on velomax wheelset at 246 lbs...was concerned if they would be bombproof and durable until I could drop weight...now at 206 lbs, they are still true. Decent wheelset for the money.

Stiff, light for the price, very reliable
None so far, could shed another 100-200g, but you'd have tp ay for that!
I've used these wheels for 4000+ km and they have held up great. No truing, no adjustments needed at all. They are very stiff and accelerate well.

Never even needed truing. Easily maintained bearings. Great cust. service.
Lighter wheels exist...at 3-5 times the price!
Very brief review because there is no reason to give a longer one. Over 6,000 miles on these wheels, never a problem!!! They're lighter than most wheels, a fair bit lighter than most semi-aero wheels, and stiff enough for me. Great for all-around training, riding, and racing. Am giving "only" a 4 on overall rating only because a 1200gm $1200 set of wheels would rate more highly "overall."

Strong and comfortable
A little heavy. I will not choose them for my uphill TT. Acceleration is a bit too slow, compared to my Ksyrium SL.
I bought them to be my training wheelset. I am not disappointed. They are quite reliable and strong. I ride them on nasty roads and they still remain true.

They were relatively light, spun up fast and I only had the rear wheel trued once in 2000 + miles.
Front wheel split vertically at the seam and cracked about an inch along the curvature of the braking surface. I didn’t even hit anything hard, the front brake just started grabbing and when I stopped to look, I noticed the crack. I contacted Velomax and since wheels are around 1 ½ years old, I will have to pay to have it repaired. I noticed nobody else reported any problems like this so maybe it was just a fluke. Anyway, good justification for buying a new set even though I’m undecided on what to get.
Thought they were great until the front rim split at the seam.

Relatively inexpensive, smooth, excellent value, kinda multi-purpose wheels
They could have been lighter
This wheelset is excellent for training and racing. They are smooth and relatively light. They come with semi-aero rim and they definitely give good ride quality. I compare the velomax with 1-year-old Ksyrium Sl. The Ksyrium set gives me a harsher ride, but with good climbing ability.

Value, Durability, Customer Service, Ease of Service.
I did have to replace the bearings and internal hub body after about nine months. But I do commute on these wheels and I was caught in a heavy downpour more than once. Velomax customer service was helpful and I performed the necessary repairs according to their excellent instructions which are available from their website, without much difficulty or expense and quickly as well.
These are terrific wheels! These wheels are very aero, durable, and tolerably light. My Rolf Vector Pro Tubulars are noticeably faster, but you wouldn't have much to complain about if you used these wheels for racing. The are my training wheels and they are so tough I am thinking about using them next season for cyclocross. I did do one race on them that included about 5 miles of dirt road and the wheels were as true as new afterwards. I think I have trued them once in 1 year and three months. Of all the many clincher wheels I've used in 15 years of riding and racing, these are the best all around wheels.

Price, style, and performance
Yet to find a weakness, but the wheels are new.
While I have listed myself as a rec rider, I do many "climbing races" as a Cat 4. Here's the deal on the Velomax wheels. They are outstanding wheels and an excellent value. The wheels came on my new Ghisallo, but I intend to rotate they over to my everyday bike, which is a Litespeed Ultimate. It currentely has Rolf Vector Competition wheels, which have provided excellent service for two years, but are about ready to be designated as back-ups. After riding the Velomax wheels I have no concerns about making these wheels my everyday wheels. They are stiff, smooth, and fast. I just don't think you can beat these wheels at the price.
