Ultegra group, Mavic ksyrium equipe wheels , Vittoria Rubino Pro

Summary:
Bought bike brand new in 09 as a 08 leftover after seeing it for sell online. Got it for half off original msrp with full warranty. Bike is stiffer than my Bianchi C2C. It climbs the local "hills" with ease. Came with Shimano Ultegra group.

Strengths:
Stiffness and price

Weaknesses:
None yet. May get a wheel upgrade in the future.

Price Paid:  $3500.00 at LBS- Tucson

Favorite Ride:
Any

Bike Setup:
Dura Ace, Mavic Cosmic carbone wheelset

Summary:
I recently changed over to riding this carbon BH Connect after years on a Ti bike. I test rode comparable carbon bikes and found this one to have better qualities. I love the ride of the Connect. Very smooth over rough pavement. Pleasure to ride. When I put the hammer down the Connect responds nicely with a stiff bottom bracket. I climbed a mountain stage (15 miles - 5000 ft elevation gain)on this the other day and it is a fantastic climbing bike. On the descent I found myself braking often, because it tracks like a laser beam. Very fast and steady on descents. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for an outstanding bike at a great price. Very unique bike. Everyone asks me about it on club rides and races.

Strengths:
Light weight (900g frame - 54cm), smooth ride, climbing ability, speed on downhills.

Weaknesses:
Have not found any as of this date.

Similar Products Used:
Trek Madone, Cannondale Six, Specialized Tarmac.

Price Paid:  $1400.00 at eBay

Model Year:
2007

Favorite Ride:
Many

Bike Setup:
Fsa seatpost, stem, crank, Dura-Ace der's, shifters, chain and cassette, Easton wheels, handlebar.

Summary:
This bike is amazing. It weighs in at 16.3 lbs. fully built for a size 59 (their largest frame). I'm a large rider- 227 lbs and create a huge amount of torque. This frame simply does not flex. But what is so awesome about it is the fact that it absorbs road vibrations and is not a harsh ride at all. This is simply the best of both worlds. The best bike I have ever ridden.

Strengths:
light, stiff, absorbs harsh road vibrations and looks like one of kind as no one else has a bike like this.

Weaknesses:
So far none.

Kestrel, Schwinn, Specialized, Trek, Giant, Scattante.
