at South Valley Cycles Favorite Ride: Salt Lake Century Bike Setup: Sram 5.0 8spd cassette, Shimano 105 triple crank, Deore hubs, Weinman rims, Deore V brakes. Summary: This bike is very responsive and stable at all speeds up to my max of 53 mph down a canyon road. I've done several fast, comfortable century rides and the bike has performed well. It does come with some rather low end components for a $1300 bike and I have upgraded wheels and brakes. The Corbin saddle is great but their is a pad sewn into the fabric on the back rest which was hot and caused chafing so I took a seem cutter and tore it off. I'd try to get Burley to leave that off if they offer that option. The seat slid back on the rails until Burley came up with an excellent fix involving aluminum blocks which grip the rail. Strengths: Fast, easy to handle, comfortable, absorbs road imperfections very well for a hard tail. Magnificent paint and workmanship. Weaknesses: Cheap components. They work but not up to standards one might expect at this price point. Similar Products Used: BikeE AT, quickly out grew, then Burley Limbo
