Litespeed Appalacian, Race Face cranks, Ultegra components. Summary:
Excellent wheels. I found out how strong the front wheel was on accident when I T-boned what appeared to be a Pit-Bull at 20mph. The dog ran right into my front tire from the side. I hit him square in the shoulders and immediatly hit the ground. Cracked my helmet. The wheel is still true, considering it was out of alignment with my stem.
If you like riding MTB trails with a CX bike, even if you do not race, these wheels will serve you well. These are the best CX wheels in my opinion.
Wheels purchased through Litespeed as an upgrade. Strengths:
Deep-V's best for cyclocross, very supple on bad terrain. Lightweight&strong. Seem to roll forever. Weaknesses:
