Price Paid:  $1649.00 at Nytro

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere along the Coast

Bike Setup:
Stock except for GP3K tires and a Terry Fly seat (the Coda finally fell apart)

Summary:
This bike is a great tri/racing bike right off the shelf. Can't beat the Ultegra group for perfect shifting every time. Very fast bike (assuming you can make it go fast). This bike has held up to 3 Ironman races and 3 years worth of local races, without a mechanical failure of any sort.

Strengths:
Component selection, aero-setup (Syntace),comfort on the long ride thanks to the carbon fork.

Weaknesses:
None that I can think of....

Similar Products Used:
Specialized road bike and QR Kilo

Price Paid:  $1700.00 at The Pedaler

Favorite Ride:
any paved road

Bike Setup:
Spinergy Rev X Xtra Light (650 CC)
Dura Ace 12-25 for uphill climbing otherwise 11-21 for racing on Flats.

Summary:
This Bike is setup STRICKTLY for Duathlons/Triahtlons its not your everyday Road Bike. If you want to compete in Triathlons/Duathlons or Time Trials this is the Bike that will definately blast past your competition but for an every day Bike ride your better off getting a real Roadie such as Cannondale R1000, TREK 5000 or similar bikes.

Strengths:
If you have the legs for the 11/21 gears its a VERY FAST BIKE, it has tremendous acceleration. You can pull away from bikes costing 2x as much. The 650 CC wheels gives it awesome handling and acceleration. The Ultegra provides smooth shifting. The frame and Aero components cuts through the wind with ease. Turns many heads, very Exotic appearance (specially with Spinergy REV X)

Weaknesses:
not design for steep down downhills.

Similar Products Used:
Trek Road BIkes, Schwinn. Cannondale Super V1000 SL (MT.
BIKE)

Bike Setup:
Stock, with the exception of a new saddle, new seatpost, and new stem. (Good thing the bike itself was on sale.)

Summary:
I like it a lot--but be sure to check it out thoroughly before you take it off the showroom floor.

Be aware, though, that this is not a bike for everyday riding or club rides. It isn't built for comfort, it's built for speed.

Strengths:
Very stiff frame. A (mostly) good selection of components. The Syntace aero setup is very nice.

Weaknesses:
The Coda stem that came with the bike angled upwards, making a good aero position difficult to achieve. The Thompson Elite seatpost won't let you lower the nose of the saddle enough for comfort--a particular problem with the already uncomfortable Coda saddle.

When I first got the bike, it had a lot of creaks. No wonder--it was assembled totally dry. No grease on the seatpost, no grease on the stem, no grease on the chainring boltys. (Haven't checked the bottom bracket yet.) There was also a persistent creak from the frame in the seatpost area where a sleevefor the seatpost is welded into the frame--this required squirting oil into the frame and inverting it so that the oil would run between the sleeve and the frame. That seems to have fixed the problem.

Favorite Ride:
warner trails

Summary:
if you want to avoid the hassel of building up a tri bike piece by piece, this thing comes ready to fly.

Strengths:
just itching to go fast, super stiff, super aero, great specs

Weaknesses:
only one water bottle mount on the frame, almost no room for modifications! cost.
