at Williamson Bikes Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Country Roads with low traffic Bike Setup: Cannondale Six Carbon 6--complete carbon frame, 60cm seat tube/top tube, Shimano 105 drive train. Summary: I'm reviewing the Cannondale Six Carbon 6, 2009 model. This was the closet match to my bike. I've ridden 1,900 miles in 5 months and absolutely love the lightness, ease of climbing hills and intuitive feel of this bike. I did learn my lesson, though, with the FSA Omega Compact crank/FSA Exo bottom bracket-they caused nothing but pain for the first 3 months. The bike was constantly in the shop due to poor shifting. What a headache. I upgraded the bottom bracket/crank/chainrings to Shimano 105 and it's been a dream since. Not even an adjustment since hitting the road with the upgrade. Overall, love the bike. I'm 6'3", 220lbs and this bike is getting the job done! Strengths: Efficient power transfer, vertical compliance, carbon fiber eases road vibrations, handles well in all situations, and overall bling. Weaknesses: FSA Omega Compact Crank/chainrings were a nightmare for me-perhaps due to being a neophyte roady, but I didn't have one carefree ride until upgrading to Shimano 105 bottom bracket/chainrings/crank/chain. Similar Products Used: This is my first road bike.
