at Kozy's Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: any Chicago street Bike Setup: Nitto RB018 Bullhorns, Paul Components left brake lever, Removed back brake, MKS GR9 pedals with Soma quad gate clips and double leather straps, Thomson Elite seatpost, and Formula 16t fixed cog (48x16)w/ Shimano lockring. I've ordered a EAI 15t cog, as I need more speed (plus Chicago is flat)! Summary: I have the Red/White 2008. 2008 option was not in drop-down. Super fun bike. Until now, I did most of my riding offroad, down in the Palos forest preserve. That is until now. Now that I have this bike, I just want to ride roads. Its so much. Its super fast and light, it feels like a rocket.
I started looking for a fixed gear (simplicity reasons) to commute downtown on, running errands, and getting around city. I did a ton of research online. Didnt fully decide until I went in to lbs and started looking around. Saw some Langsters, Fillmores, Sohos, and Sputniks. As soon as I saw this bike, sitting there all alone, I knew I wanted it. After taking it for a spin, I fell in love.
As other posters have stated, the components will need to be upgraded. Unless your paying $5k for a bike, your components will most always need to be upgraded. Strengths: Frame, frame, frame! Geometry, fork, race red color scheme. Shimano Sora brakeset is actually a fair component. Flip flop hub. Weaknesses: Pedals, carbon wrapped alloy seat post, does not come w/ a fixed cog, only singlespeed. Similar Products Used: Specialized Langster, Lemond Fillmore.

at Bike Works, Johnstow Favorite Ride: Cannondale Capo 2008 Bike Setup: Stock at this point. Will upgrade tires/ tubes in spring. Summary: Great, fun bike. I have two Cannondale 650c tri bikes and two Cannondale Super V's for off road but I like bombing around on the fixed gear Capo the most. Its so simple and light. Strengths: Light
Stiff
Simple
Great retro look in red with white trim. Weaknesses: So far for me it has been the Maxis Fuse tires and light weight tubes that came with the bike. I keep them aired up but have gotten so many pinch flats i've gone through 2 patch kits in one summer on these tires.

at Old Town Bikes Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Any Summary: I too love this bike. I have upgraded many of the components as well. Seat post (Easton), Bars (FSA K-wing),
Peddles (Shimano 970), Saddle (Saddleco Flow), drive train 49/19 “fixed” (68 Gi). I ride this baby every chance I get. It’s exclusive in the winter and at least once a week in the summer seasons. Ride is smooth and bike handles great. I have not felt the need to replace the breaks although the pads only tend to last several months. In all fairness though, I clean my bikes after every ride. So, I think that lends its self to component life. As for riding this rig, I’ve done everything short of a century on it. I live in the NW and hills are a part of the landscape here. So I’ve done much up and down and well as flat and long. I’ve been very happy with this machine. So much so that I’m looking for a second one. That way I’ll have one with and one without fenders. Yeah baby!
Strengths: Handling, weight, appearance. Weaknesses: Stock components. Similar Products Used: Cannondale R600, R4000, Six13.

at James Vincent Bikes Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: GW Bridge and along Hudson River Bike Setup: Totally stock but will be switching out handlebars for bullhorns Summary: Its actually the 2008 Model. After doing much research on what road bike I'd want to get, I thought I wanted a Trek Soho S. After testing one, and a Jamis Sputnik, and a Bianchi Pista, I fell in love with the Capo. Already having a Cannondale F5 as a mountain bike, I have a sweet spot for Cannondale frames and how responsive they are. In a matter of weeks I've put over 100 miles on it and just love it to death. I will probably change out the handlebars for some bullhorns, but that's preference for me. I admit the brakes aren't the best, and the bike is a little noisy under strain, it can all be fixed and you still have that great frame and fork. I gave it a 4 for value, because it certainly isn't cheap compared to its competitors, but I still think its worth it. Strengths: Super Light Weight
Amazing Frame
Great Fork
Great Gearing for a Fast Ride Weaknesses: Brakes could be better
Little Noisy
Like everyone else on here found the carbon wrapped seat post silly. Similar Products Used: Jamis Sputnik, Trek Soho S, Bianchi Pista

at Human Zoom Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: 16 mile commute including the infamous "wall" Bike Setup: 2007 Cannondale Capo, flip flop set to single speed, stock parts slowly replaced new brakes, crank, pedals, seat Summary: Bike so nice I bought it twice - after the first got creamed, and me along with it by an illegal left hand turn, I stepped right up and bought the same ride again. I wanted a bike that I could both ram around the city streets on, and not worry about locking up outside, and then hop on it for a long scenic ride back, or kick it in and get home through rain/snow - this bike fir the bill with a little something for each occasion. The frame is amazing, the parts do wear, like some other posts have said, but overall it's fantastic bike to do a little bit of everything on, I use it to commute, minor touring, and also just to get around town. Slowly I've been updating parts as the stock ones wear out, or I see something on sale. The original tires, brakes got chewed up in the first 1000 miles, the crank is going to need work soon. The carbon and aluminum is surprisingly smooth. Strengths: Responsive smooth ride, great frame, weights nothing, good stock, and easily modified Weaknesses: parts wear, but not before you'll want to upgrade anyways, don't read their marketing just try the bike
