Price Paid:  $1000.00 at On sale from Canyon.

Favorite Ride:
Quiet, rolling terrain

Bike Setup:
- Campagnolo Record Ergo levers;
- Deda Zero stem and Campione carbon bars;
- Chorus derailleurs;
- Dura Ace crankset;
- Bora Ultra wheels;
- Deda Superzero post;
- Tune Speedneedle saddle

Summary:
Mine is the 2007 model with the thinner fork, and I must say that this is a very solid bike - incredibly stiff in both the bottom bracket and front end, looks great, light weight, priced rights, and moderately comfortable.
Hard to find fault at the price point it sits. Not as smooth as my Fondriest carbon, and not uber-light like the Scott Addict, but really hits the mark as an all-rounder. I've been very pleased with this frameset.
Come in around 15 lbs all-in, and the newer versions are supposedly even lighter and more comfortable!

Strengths:
- Stiffness up front and in the bb area is unparalleled (see Tour magazine tests);
- Sweet white paintjob has held up well;
- Nice neutral geometry: quick handling without feeling twitchy;
- Low weight: only 80 grams more than a Cervelo R3 at half the price!

Weaknesses:
- Dealing with an overseas entity made ordering my frameset a bit of an adventure - order took about 3 weeks longer than expected due to the "language barrier".

Price Paid:  $2000.00 at Canyon.com

Favorite Ride:
Anything with hills

Summary:
This is just such a great bike compared to my old Aluminium peugeot. They are roughly as comfortable, since that in essence was what the Peugeot was made for, but the Canyon is just faster. with this bike, i am able to leave others in my slipstream and beyond with ease. It is a great bike for longer climbs as well, even though i have the wrong cassette for that. About me:
- 1bout 135 lbs(61 kg)
- 170 cm
- junior rider
I built the bike up with SRAM Red and so far it is going great. The wheels are Campagnolo Shamal Ultras (Shimano owners beware: with 10 speed only freehub body). This bike is so great that i find myself washing it pretty much every day! Or maybe that's just because the frame is white...

By the way, the frame looks so much better in the new version with a bigger fork and redesigned frame. see it at canyon.com. Got it for 2000 AUD becuase i'm a Junior!

Strengths:
- stiff
- light (fully built up- 7100 g)
- comfortable
- great looking

Weaknesses:
You have to wash it often because grime is easy to spot on a white... oh wait, that's a plus!

tried a Specialized Tarmac SL but this bike is just in another league!

Bike Setup:
Zipp 808
Ritchey Hammer Head
Dura Ace Components
53-39/11-21
Crankset: Winter 170 FSA K-Force
Summer Dura Ace 172,5
Thomson Elite Saddle Post
Selle San Marco Carbon Fiber Saddle
Tacx Carbon Bottle Holder

Summary:
I bought the frame in 2006 and used it to build up an triathlon bike using shimano dura ace components, ritchey's hammerhead, thomson's elite saddle post, selle san marco carbon fiber saddle and mavic's cosmic elite wheels for training and the zipp 808 for competition.
I spent last year in spain's south where the weather allows you to train a lot
and thus I spent a lot of time on that bike and can assure, that the frame is quite good and can compete with frames from all over the world and even much more expensive ones.
The frame is very stiff, quite cheap without any lack of quality!!!
The paint finish is very nice and looks good and expensive. I
Both, training and racing on that bike make a lot of fun.
It's easy and good to ride/navigate and responds to your steering immdiatley.
It's safe in descendings and won't make you feel uncomfortable as it never drops out of the line.

Last but not least I rode the 180 KM in the Ironman European Championship in 4.57h thanks to that bike ;-)
:-) Thanks

Strengths:
Stiffnes, weight, quality, paint finish, price

Weaknesses:
Design of the front fork.
Which is very thin compared to the oversized tubes of the frame.
As far as I know, they have changed the design of the new bikes.
