Here's a quick review of my EMX 3.1 with Dura ace, bought through Chainreaction.com

The ordering process was good. I called and e mailed Chainreaction several times mainly regarding sizing and they provided good a knowledgeable response. I'm 174cm and I went for the 45cm frame size. Beware Merckx frame sizes are highly usual but they do have a virtual frame size too which gives a good indication of how big the big is, this is the K number on the size guide.

The EMX3 from 2011 has the performance geometry.

I choose the black / grey version which is actually black with some thin white lines and red white logo type. the frame has lots of visible simi Matt carbon which looks technical. It's not a glossy finish rather something understands which I like. The finishing kit is Older Dura Ace 7900 not the current line, but this was not an issue for me. So a great looking bike with envy inducing Groupset.

I have had a few days with the bike, done some climbing, the 11-25 needs to be swooped out for something more like a 11-28, but then I do live in mountainous Switzerland. Frame is great down hill, and very responsive.

One final comment is that there is some toe overlap, where the toes can touch the front wheel when horizontal, not really an issue unless going very slowly in a U turn.
