Price Paid:  $1550.00 at Chainwheel- www.chai

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere dry and warm

Bike Setup:
Mix bag of good stuff. FSA carbon crankset, dura ace STI shifters and rear derauilleur, ulterga fron

Summary:
Frame is awesome! Even though I have very little of the original components it was a fantastic bike when bought. I had seen it rated as the buy of the year and I believe it.

Strengths:
Very stiff, light frame. 2000 Team ONCE frame with differnt skin on it. Solid component group.

Weaknesses:
If you are not a fan of compact frame design, you won't like this one either.

Summary:
Good all around bike. The stem was a little low so i swapped to an itm. The bike handles well it's fast, agile, and handles all the abuse of our pot hole streets

Strengths:
weight, great climber, comfortable once bike is set up right, great price for value

Weaknesses:
the fork recall ordeal, the bottom bracket squirms when hammering (weight sacrifices will do that)

Price Paid:  $1500.00 at bike shop

Favorite Ride:
marin headlands

Bike Setup:
stock, except for ritchy stem, bigger tires and new pedals

Summary:
The original Cinelli stem was slung a little too low for comfort, I swapped it with a Ritchy that seems stiffer and is definately lighter. The medium now fits like a glove and I feel very secure bombing SF hills on my early morning commute. I sacrificed a little weight and climbing ability when I increased the tires to Michelin Sport 700 x 25 but now my wheels stay true and they dont pick up any glass. I love the compact road frame, I find it to be nimble and versatile. Overall the bike feels stiff and very efficient, it climbs like a cat and lets not forget that it's the coolest looking bike around.

Strengths:
weight, handling, fit

Weaknesses:
spd-r pedals, stem

Similar Products Used:
schwinn, marin, peugeot
