Price Paid:  $850.00 at Lakeside Bicycles

Favorite Ride:
NW in the Fall

Bike Setup:
Sachs New Success, Campy Record brakes, Phil Wood BB, Thomson seatpost, Vanilla stem, Rolls saddle, Zipp 101 wheels with Vredestein Fortezza Tricomps, Shimano SPDRs, Ritchey Biomax 2 bars.

Summary:
This is a solid, fast, racing bike -- not too stiff, not soft. Good details -- extended head tube, long top tube, good looks. The geometry is a bit odd -- 73 degree HA in 61 with a straight blade 39 rake fork. Longer than normal chainstays. The bike is balanced and neutral -- a good all arounder, quick enough to maneuver in a fast group. It

Strengths:
Kelly was fun to deal with -- reliable, on time, great quality product, lots of options. The bike is exactly as promised. The steel fork is a pleasure on a new bike -- dead solid in fast corners and descents, with good road feel and a precise feeling at speed. It's a bike that you can rely on in a race -- it pretty much goes where it's told.

Weaknesses:
I haven't found any -- it's not the ultimate in refined road bikes (that would be my Seven!), but it doesn't claim to be.

Cinelli Supercorsa; Seven Axiom, Rivendell Road, Basso Loto, Bianchi Axis, Gunnar Crosshairs.
