at Northborough Favorite Ride: KHS Flite 2000 Bike Setup: carbon Fiber ends, with dura-ace components Summary: For my first time getting into the road bikes i have noticed im going to have an awesome time getting into shape on the KHS. the flite 2000 w/ dura-ace componants is comfortable and fast. the carbon ends and aluminum really make the great stiff and controllable feeling. I wouldnt think of getting rid of the bike for another! Strengths: Stiff, user friendly for beginners such as I. the looks of the bike are tremendously slick. moreover the bike handles really nice! Weaknesses: Paint chips easily, When i received my frame it was brand new, however i noticed some chips and flaws int he paint just from shipping and handling. Similar Products Used: Older KHS frame

at ebay Favorite Ride: couldnt tell ya Bike Setup: Dura-Ace Wheels, and Mavic Heliums (they look real good on this bike) Dura-Ace Group, Bontrager Stem and seatpost. Thats about it. Summary: The KHS Flite 2000 is a truly amazing bike. I've ridden so many bikes and nothing seems to compare with the ride quality that you get from to bike. The frame is ultra stiff thanks to the massive downtube. The Carbon fiber front and rear end make the bike ideal for long road races while the geometry and frame stiffness make it an excellant crit bike. Thanks to the aero tubing you could also use it as a TT bike if you wanted. One thing that has suprised me about the frame is the fact of how long the aluminum has stayed stiff. Finally I'll be able to ride a frame for 2 years before having to buy another because of frame loosing stiffness. Strengths: The ultra stiff frame with a carbon fiber rear stay make it a perfect setup for whatever sort of racing you want to do. Weaknesses: The paint job is pretty, but it is very susceptable to chips and scratches. If your the kinda person that never wants to see a scratch on your bike, this bike is not for you. at Hatfield Cycles Favorite Ride: I'll take hills please Bike Setup: Shimano 105 components, extra-long seatpost, Shimano FlightDeck computer, ITM stem, Mavic CXP 23 wheels, Selle Italia Trans Am seat Summary: After almost a year of riding this bike, I still love it. The frame feels tight and stiff. The geometry feels fast, but is still very comfortable on longer (2 - 4 hour) rides. I'm about 210 pounds, and this bike has handled my weight without a problem. I use it for weekend rides and races. I love hills, and this bike responds very well on climbs. The paintjob looks good, but the quality of the paint leaves a bit to be desired. Despite my tender loving care, there are several places around the BB where the paint has chipped. I'm 6' 2" and had to get an extended seatpost on the 60cm frame. I also did not like the original saddle, and the shop traded it for a Selle Italia Trans Am at no charge. I started with the 105 groupset due to budgetary constraints, but I'll definitely be keeping this frame while I upgrade the components and wheels. Strengths: A frame that is light, stiff, fast, and very rideable. Good bike for the price. Looks good too. Weaknesses: The paint chips too easily. Similar Products Used: Trek 400 road bike (CroMo frame, 105 components) - the KHS is a world apart from this old workhorse. Tried a Trek 2300 road bike, but liked the KHS better, and it cost less than the 2300.

at Special order throug Summary: I moved from a quality steel frame to the KHS. I purchased the frame and fork only. Big difference in comfort. My bike is set up with Ultegra grouppo and Ritchey WCS wheels, seatpost, bar, stem and the new road cranks. Very light at +17 lbs for a 58 cm frame (frame/fork without HS is 3.7 lbs). The frame is very aero. Each tube is a specific shape, especially nice looking is the sculpted seat tube. The Ouzo Comp instead of the all carbon Pro is an unfortunate trade off, but there is not much weight penalty. The frame/fork combo is a remarkable value even at the customary $850 price tag. So far, I disagree with the writer who complains about the paint quality -- we'll see, its's still early yet. The decals, however, are refined and on straight. The bike is very quick, responsive, and stable. It has a relatively long top tube, so you'll want to consider that when selecting a stem. I'm a fairly heavy and older rider. What's important to me is to able to stay in the saddle for long rides without discomfort. The KHS keeps me smiling the entire ride. It really delivers at a modest price! Strengths: Price
Design aesthetics
ride comfort
responsiveness and speed Weaknesses: None yet
