Stock w/ replaced/upgraded bottom bracket, Speedplay cromoly pedals, Will soon upgrade front derailer and seat. Summary:
KHS 320 that is for those who want mainly a road bike but have some aero capabilities. Frame from the KHS 700 has good rigidity and the muscle stays seem to absorb a good bit of shock. Front Carbon fork is gives a nice ride but does deflect a little on turns for a Clydesdale like me. As a rabid mountian biker getting tired of waiting for the muddy trails to dry this bike is a good training tool. Solid components, flexible set-up and a good price. Not a superlight rocket but a good club/fittness bike that will turn some heads and keep you in the pack. May use it in a few team tri events for fun. Like the aero set up for windy days that tax my aging knees. Speedplay pedals are great additions. Overall a excellent value for the dollars. Buy from a LBS due to bottom bracket issue (mine fixed/upgraded it) free of charge, thanks RB Cycle) Strengths:
Stiff frame even at 58cm. 105/Ultregra shift train in rear is strong and quick. Bike is pretty light even with all the aero gear on it. Save over a pound if it is removed with the supplied headset cap. Wheel sets have held up great so far despite my weight and the Tenn. rough roads. Weaknesses:
Stock Bottom Bracket was too small on the 58cm model. 108mm did not allow correct shifting. LBS changed it(free upgrade) to a 109.5mm and it shifts much better.
Tiagra Front shifter will have to go soon as it cannot be adjusted to make the chaing not rub at one or the other extreame of the rear cog in either chainring.
Stock seat is pretty hard (typical) and needs upgrading for the long term.
