Favorite Ride:
Green Church Road

Bike Setup:
2006 Trel Madone 5.2 Ultegra triple

Summary:
Replaced the stock Bontrager stem for two reasons. I wanted to try a lighter and shorter stem. The shorter stem improved my position on the bike and relieved discomfort in shoulders and wrists. It also made the bike handle quicker but not twitchy. The front end seems lighter but not quite as solid as the old stem. I will probably swap the stems a few times to verify these changes.

Strengths:
Light and cheap.
Stable steering at speed.

Weaknesses:
Only a single steerer bolt.
