at Mt.Airy Bikes Favorite Ride: South Mountain Bike Setup: Race Face Tandem specific cranks(super stiff), XTR deraillers, bar end shifters,Mavic t217 40 spoke Summary: Great Tandem that offers a smoother ride than the other steel tandems we tested. We are a small light team, 155 and 125, and the round boom tube didn't beat us up like on the Santana. It was plenty stiff for out of the saddle sprints and really steep hills. The tubing is better than the Arriva but maybe a half step below the Noventa. The stoker compartment is a little bigger too. Strengths: Frame, frame material, components (cranks, drivetrain), customer service (they offered to repaint my neighbors' entire bike because of a small scratch in the fork during shipping) Weaknesses: Stems were made by Longbikes and didn't have enough thread for the bolts. I stripped one and it was replaced with an updated version that seems to have corrected this. The machining is not quite as good as Santana but better than most others Similar Products Used: Santana Arriva and Sovereign
