at Russ Hayes Favorite Ride: Cypress Bowl Road Bike Setup: Out of the box, 105 groupo. Axiom seatpost/headset. Mavic CXP21 wheelset. Have upgraded rear cassette and triple chain ring (even though i never use the 30!!) to Ultegra. Summary: Great introductory road race bike. The compact frame made for an easy transition from mountain to road. the bike started wearing down at the 5500 km mark, but has served me well until now as a new CAT 4 racer. looking forward to it becoming my winter rider for 2004! Strengths: Love the compact frame, not too rigid, and very solid in the corners. 105 groupo and Mavic CXP21s great to start out with for the cash involved. highly reccomend for the novice racer. Weaknesses: headset weak, and frame is on heavy side. You get what u pay for, and this is value for the money! Similar Products Used: None

at Kenmore Cycles, Bris Summary: Absolute bargain for full 105 equipment and carbon forks. Really like the compact frame style, for a short a*s like me. Strengths: Solid and tight feel, yet not rough to ride. Perfect value point Weaknesses: None found yet, except common to all compact frames, it's hard to squeeze large pumps and stuff into the frame. Similar Products Used: Old clunckers (not at all that similar!)
