at Sierra trading outpo Favorite Ride: Mt Diablo on a Unicycle Bike Setup: De Rosa Avant, FSA+Dura-Ace 10 speed, Xaero, Deda Synapsi, Fizik Summary: I was hooked into buying due to the prospects of a shoe that was quick in transition, on and off, comfortable for the long-coarse and was from the Northwave family of fine cycling shoes. Strengths: They breath great...they are very light in weight and no "hot spots" while riding. They look great, when not wearing socks. Weaknesses: Narrow fit....need a narrow foot with medium to low arch to take advantage of the BOA slip on design or subject your feet and shoes ot body glide. Even with the titanium frame, the sole is too flexible for my taste. I was overwhelmingly disappointed by the performance of the shoe when riding. The sole is so much thinner than a typical carbon sole, you feel like you have to adjust the seat down.
I used them for 4 races and have since gone back to my road specific shoes. Similar Products Used: Pearl Izumi Vapors, Nike Poggio OCLV
