Price Paid:  $44.00 at Performancebike.com

Favorite Ride:
Lakemont (Winter Park, FL)

Bike Setup:
2006 Salsa 58cm Campeon (beautiful bike!), Ultegra/Dura-ace, Mavic SSLs. Previous bike was a 2000 KHS Flite 800 with Rolf Vector Comps and original equip Panaracer Stradius Pro

Summary:
I have used variations of this tire since 2001 and absolutely love them! They stick like glue, roll smoothly and are more resistant to cuts/flats than Michelins Pro Race & Conti tires. I have never had any problems with the beads. I run these at 110-120 psi. Found better price on the net recently, $34. Highly recommended!

Strengths:
Grip, cut resistance

Weaknesses:
Price and availability

Similar Products Used:
Michelin ProRace & ProRace 2; Conti GPs (never had any good experiences with the GP series tires)

Price Paid:  $0.00 at Andante bike shop

Summary:
Do not buy these tires. Even for free don't use them. Will not stay on rim at even low pressure. 3 blowouts on first & last ride with them. they should be recalled. Dangerous...... They suck!

Price Paid:  $30.00 at Nashbar

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere without traffic

Bike Setup:
Mikkelsen custom with Campy Record/Chorus mix. Currently using Speedcific wheel set up built by Mike Garcia.

Summary:
This is my second review of this tire since 2003. True, the older pair I had cut a bit easier than other tires I have used. However, I have a new set purchased 6 mos ago and no such cut pattern has presented. I do not think they are as sticky as the older pair, but more than adequate and low rolling resistance.

Strengths:
Low rolling resistance, corner well, smooth riding.

Weaknesses:
Too early to tell on second set, but nothing to complain about so far.

Similar Products Used:
Conti 3000 GP, Pro Race, Veloflex

Price Paid:  $39.00 at Performance

Favorite Ride:
Bolinas-Fairfax

Bike Setup:
Fondriest, DA, Open Pro rims

Summary:
Hey,

I wanted to love this tire. Light, not too expensive, and according to the "testing", very grippy. The only problem was, the bead is so loose, that it blew off the rim at about 100psi. I replaced the tube and got it up to 120. The problem now is that it is so lumpy and out of round that I am not going to run it. I rode it this morning and it felt stable in the corners, but I just don't trust it. I just put on a Conti Attack and it is so smooth and true, and I know it is not going to blow off the rim. I have worked in shops forever, so I do actually know how to mount a tire.

Strengths:
Seems grippy

Weaknesses:
Loose bead, not round, has lumps

Summary:
These tires suck, I flatted after only onehundred miles (which can happen with any tire)but the tire looks like somebody sliced it with an x-acto knife! I have to throw it out! After 100 miles of riding!!
I don't know what to say...considering how expensive they were, I think it's a bit of a joke!
