Cheap tire, the red part of the tire just came apart on my ride today

Strengths:
Low rolling resistance, feels light and fast

Weaknesses:
Doesn't last very long, not an all weather tire

Favorite Ride:
Folsom Trail

Bike Setup:
Scattante 650R triple will full Ultegra

Summary:
The corners were squared off at about 600 miles and I'm only 160 lbs. I would think tires should last at least 1000 miles. I got what I paid for. I'll spend a little more next time.

Strengths:
Good cornering and low rolling resistance.

Weaknesses:
Low mileage

Price Paid:  $21.00 at PBS

Favorite Ride:
local 25 mile

Bike Setup:
Trek 5000 / dura ace wheels. PBS regular presta tubes. I weigh 160lbs.

Summary:
I admit I buy cheaper tires but these aren't worth the work I've been through fixing flats. Since I've had them on I've had 4 flats in 5 rides, 2 in one day. One bit of glass was so small I was amazed it made a hole.

Strengths:
These tires roll easily, I pump the front to 125 and back to 135. They have great traction.

Weaknesses:
Might be fine for roads without small pointy rocks or bits of glass or thorns

Price Paid:  $20.00 at Performance

Favorite Ride:
Old La Honda

Bike Setup:
Frankenbike with Pedal Force frame, Cane Creek Wheels, Ritchey stem and bars, 105 shifters and brakes and CarbonLord cranks.

Summary:
Summary: These are good but not great tires and there are better choices for durable trainers and lighter choices for racing tires.

I put about 1000 miles on these in three months and the rear was shot. These have very good grip and are easy rolling tires. They mount properly but I had one early problem with the tire pulling out of the rim. I had one flat in the first 500 miles and four more in the las 100 before I tossed them. They didn't look that worn but too many flats.

Strengths:
Rolling Resistance
Grip

Weaknesses:
Durability
Flats

Favorite Ride:
Santa Monica Mtns. Ca. and when money/time complies Europe

Bike Setup:
Trek 2000 retro 7 spd ultegra and Litespeed Classic 9-spd Ulterga/Durace STI

Summary:
Both my girlfriend(does doubles) and I have used these tires...we both have gotten many flats with em. Yes they are good for traction and have a good road feel but seem to pick up lots of debris and gets cut too easily. We weigh 135-150 so not very heavy riders. Too many flats, may try Ultra Gator Skins by Continental. Used to have Michelin Prestige tires, wore great but weren't so good when things got wet, still liked em alot.

Strengths:
Good grip, low price.

Weaknesses:
Pick up too much debris= flats... also get cut easily.

Similar Products Used:
Michelin Prestige=good. Performance Forte=bad, flats and many cuts.
