Price Paid:  $100.00 at LBS

Favorite Ride:
any

Bike Setup:
Klein, set up for duathlon racing.

Summary:
I've used these bars for several years. These are great, easily adjustable bars. Not only can the length be adjusted, but with a little mixing and matching, my LBS was able to adjust the pads to a lower position.

Strengths:
Adjustability

Weaknesses:
None, except possibly weight

Bike Setup:
Kestrel Talon with Ultegra 10, Ksyrium Elite wheels, continental tires

Summary:
This product came on the Kestrel Talon that I purchased. The aerolite does not have pads that are spring loaded as indicated in a previous review. These bars have been solid and easy to adjust. The adjustment on making the bars shorter or longer is the best part of these bars.

Strengths:
Solid and easily adjustable

Weaknesses:
none that I can see

Price Paid:  $99.00 at Two Wheeler Dealer -

Favorite Ride:
Anywhere that has resonably smooth roads

Bike Setup:
Litespeed Arenburg (Ti),Bontrager X-Lite race rims, Campi derailers.

Summary:
Purchased these fold-down aerobars after the origional set I had been given failed and the brackets broke. Being an optimist, I thought maybe the new design would be an improvement - duh! what waz I thinking. I have had so many springs fail that I can change them in my sleep! They must be using the cheapist springs they can find! I love aerobars, but don't really see any huge advantage to the fold-down since you can't use the bar real-estate under the arm-rest anyway.

Strengths:
Look good - kinda of teche looking, very comfortable, gets the pressure off the wrist and adds about .5 to 1 mph in speed.

Weaknesses:
Poor design on the brackets (they fail after a couple of hundred hours by cracking), springs are junk - break after just a few hours of usage, noisy (rattle - Can be quieted with 2 #84 rubber bands).

Summary:
Very adjustable, comfortable and secure.

BUT mounts above bar so pads/bars are too high compared to base bar. Can't get hands under pads into "tops" position.
