Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Bought this bike new in 99 for $300. It was just recently stolen in 02-04. Overall I have to say I am a little disappointed in the bike quality as I had to replace several parts because they broke. A basket would hhave been nice to include in the price.

Strengths:
Good looks. I had the black model. Comfortable ride.

Weaknesses:
A bit small for someone over 6'. Handle bars bent, and the cranks broke.

Price Paid:  $327.00 at American River Bike Shop

Favorite Ride:
paths along the rivers...

Bike Setup:
An old fashion coster bike set-up with a modern touch of gear shifting. convient to the people who still like stoping with their feet on the pedals and not with a hands.
The bike is all ready set-up to ride out the door.

Summary:
If you enjoy riding a bike in the 60's that used your feet on the peddals to stop and not with hands. This bike is great and I suggest Renting one for a day and take it out for a test ride on a street, paved-paths, or along the boardwalk. Once you have tried it and enjoyed the comfort, you will be looking to buy your own.

But for off-road biking, continue to looking for a bike with both hand control breaks for better control.

Strengths:
The bike holds up to the abuse of holding a 325lb. man while riding on streets, paths, and boardwalks. The shamano shifter works smoothly while the rider enjoys the atmosphire.

Weaknesses:
The tires does show a little stress from the weight distribution of the rider, but adjusting for psi. of the tires. helps the preformance on the drag restiance. while the mechanicals of the bike work with out showing any problems.
