Price Paid:  $500.00 at Bicycle rack

Bike Setup:
I changed the seat tube to a suspension post to help eliminate some of the harshness. I also installed a set of SPD pedals.

Summary:
I have had no problems with the bike in the year I have ben riding it. It's a cheap bike, I got what I expected. It does shift nicely, handles "okay" and is predictable. The Vuelta wheelset is junk, but once again for the price it's okay.

Strengths:
Price, it's adequate for an everyday rider or entry level racer.

Weaknesses:
Really rough ride. It's a bit whippy in the rear end on climbs. Handlebar too flexible.

Price Paid:  $690.00 at westbank schwinn

Bike Setup:
tiagra shifters, crank, derailer. Sora brakes, hub.

Summary:
This is my first road bike as I am just getting into triathlons. I took it to my first tri last weekend and I must say that I was fairly impressed. The shifting was fine and although my time sucked, I don't blame it on the bike. I realize that the tiagra components are fairly low level, but if they continue to perform like this for the next few years, I'll be happy.

Strengths:
Looks, price, comfortable saddle. After owning for 1 week, I'm still glad I bought it.

Weaknesses:
None found, YET.
