Price Paid:  $598.00 at ROL

Favorite Ride:
Lawton grape vine trail

Bike Setup:
Canndonale SuperSix 3

Summary:
These replaced the Easton Circuits on my Cannondale Super Six. I liked the Circuits, but they wore out after 7 years. I did a lot of research in those 7 years and decided on the ROLs. I am happy I did. Noticably lighter and stiffer, but ride smooth. Great service as well. I thought all the positive user reviews can't be wrong. They weren't

Strengths:
weight (for the price), stiffness, ride, looks.

Weaknesses:
Somewhat loud campy-like free wheel. It is hard to hear when you are going 25 miles per hour.

Easton Circuits, Mavic Open Pro's

Price Paid:  $585.00 at ROL Wheels

Favorite Ride:
Anything

Bike Setup:
GIANT OCR Limited
Full Ultegra

Summary:
Even though I waited a few weeks for these wheels to come to my house, I believe it was well worth it! The customer service alone, makes these wheels worth buying. Sean, the owner, personally called me at least 4 times during the process to field any questions and to update me on the status of my wheels. Often times it was not just a quick phone call either...it felt as if we were old buddies! The whole experience made me comfortable and confident of my decision to purchase wheels at ROL. It has been a very long time since I have experienced anything close to this sort of AMAZING customer service.
With the above being said, when the wheels finally did arrive, I couldn't have been happier. Great packaging (no new tubes and tires though :( ) and really sweet looking wheels. I immediately went to my fave LBS where they put them on quickly and they remarked on the quality of the set. The wheels spin up a lot quicker than my previous ones, seem really light, and have very little flex. They seem to be made perfectly for my 290 pound aggressive riding style. Although I have only about 10 rides on the wheelset, I am still smiling about the whole damn process!!!!!.....!!!!!

Strengths:
Light
Stiff
Visually appealing
Good packinging
Quiet
CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weaknesses:
No new tubes and tires that previous customers received.
Took a little long to receive (but it is because this company is growing so fast)

Price Paid:  $500.00

Favorite Ride:
Short TT

Bike Setup:
GTR Carbon Expert with Selle Italia SLR saddle and Veloflex tires

Summary:
At this point it just seems like I'm piling on, so I'll keep this breif and somewhat interesting. I feel obligated to write a review based on my complete satisfaction.
After opening the box, I removed the packaging, noted how tight the spokes were (compared to the stock Shimano garbage I'd been riding), grabbed the axle and gave it a light spin, the valve hole worked its way to the absolute top dead center position. I tried it 10 more times with each wheel, and the balance of these wheels never failed. That may be a very pedestrian observation to some folks, but to a recreational rider who has replaced a few spokes and trues his old rims every other week, it was a coming of age and a feeling of complete amazement. I don't dare try that little test with my old wheels.

Strengths:
-Light
-Stiff
-well put together, durable and fast

Weaknesses:
I didn't get a water bottle and other goodies in my box like that other reviewer whose wheels were on back order, as mine were for a few weeks. (But I did get the call from Sean)

Price Paid:  $590.00

Bike Setup:
Cannondale 6-13, dura-ace 7800, fsa k-wing, compact crank. 47 year old legs

Summary:
Amazing. I paid a little more for a beefier set up. I just love these wheels. Sean walked me through the entire process. He took an active interest in what type of cyclist I am and how, where, and when I ride and then determined what I needed.
These guys got it right. They are committed to putting out a solid product. They take pride in their work and it shows! The wheel are smooth, strong and light. More importantly, I now have confidence in my wheels and am now enjoying my cycling. I used to ride Mavics. The latest R-sys was not for me. The company didn't give a sh-t about broken spokes/compression ring on a new set. I was always watching out for every little change in the pavement, so I wouldn't have another break down.
I would buy again, but my wife has put a limit on the number of bikes I own. If I manage to obtain another ride I would definitely buy another set from Rol.
I would give the wheels a 6/6.

Strengths:
Strong, smooth, light. Track very nicely. The deeper rims took a few rides to get used to, but I feel more connected to my riding and the road.

Weaknesses:
I can only buy one set now. But maybe with a new bike...

Price Paid:  $600.00 at ROL

Favorite Ride:
High Grade

Bike Setup:
Trek Pilot 5.2

Summary:
I purchased these to get some more handling performance from an old Trek Pilot. They have made a noticeable difference in cornering compared to the old Bontrager Race Lite X set that were stock.

I have also been very impressed with how supple these wheels feel and how effortlessly they hold a spin. I noticed on the very first ride that I was passing one of my friends on downhill coasts that I was normally head to head with. I have also hit a couple of unavoidable potholes with no ill effects to the wheels. They remained perfectly true much to my relief. After five hundred miles (sorry - been mountain biking) they are still perfect.

All in all, they are a great set for the money and I have had no problems with them. However, I must confirm that I did have some problems with shipping and billing after the order which were quickly rectified personally by Sean. Hopefully he has the bugs in his business now under control. I would not hesitate to order from this company again.

BTW - I am currently purchasing a 2009 Specialized Roubaix and will put these wheels on the new bike immediately.

Strengths:
Supple, Strong & True.

Weaknesses:
None.
