Summary: This is for the '06 Ultegra set-up.
I've been riding a Specialized Allez for the past few years, and wanted to try Carbon. I was looking at frames and they were starting at close to $1,000.00. For another $400 bones I got a full Ultegra kit too. I did switch out the cranks for my Dura Ace, and threw on my Ksyrium Elites. The bike rides great, really responsive, fast, and very smooth and comfortable. I've gotten it close to 40 mph, and the bike still feels very solid. The geometry of the bike seems to work well for me. I must admit I was a little unsure about getting a "generic" type frame, but after riding a couple 50 mile rides, and pushing the bike in climbs and flats, I am very happy with my decision. The shop also said that the frame has a lifetime warranty from defects.
Speed, responsiveness, and comfort. Nice to get it all.
I give a 5 because of what I mention above, and because I really can't think of anything bad at all. The bike is just so fun to ride.
Strengths: Light, fast, smooth ride. Carbon frame, full Ultegra, $1400.
Weaknesses: None so far.

Summary: i have used this bike for the past 3 years and has been great. even on downhill high speeds of 44mph there was little vibration, and the bike handles and shifts great.i have compare it to my oold cannondale R1000 and trek 5200. i have to say it is about the same but with a lot cheaper price tag.
Strengths: great feel, smooth ride, great price, ultegra comp,
Weaknesses: i bit of vibration, but nothign to bad.

Bike Setup: All carbon, Shimano pedals, shifters and brakes.
Summary: This a comfortable bike that accelerates quickly, shifts smoothly and handles well. Last summer I rode in a 5 day tour and fared much better than the prior year.
Less vibration has reduced soreness in my wrists. The seat has been comfortable and I love the wider platform of the Shimano pedals--SPD-SL. It is much easier to stay up for acceleration and climbing.
My cycle group was surprised how much better I performed with this bike.
I bought this as a prior year closeout. I put 1,000 miles on it in a few months. I'm very happy.
Someday I will ride a high end bike for comparison. That's why I have only rated this a 4--there is probably a better combo out there.
Strengths: Comfort, vibration absorption. I have not ventured much above 35MPH, but I have not noticed any shimmy or looseness. I like the bike. The Ultegra shifters and brakes are great. The stock wheels have been fine and I'm a large rider.
Weaknesses: Once I was properly fitted, and the initial cable stretch tightened, I have not had any problems. The one drawback of Performance is that their nearest store, where I bought the bike, is 350 miles away.

Bike Setup: Stock, except for saddle and Forte "Look"-type clipless pedals and shoes.
Summary: This is the Scattante CFR Elite 57cm... I shopped quite a bit and had some sticker-shock looking at some of the "name brand" road bikes. Two people I know who race independently recommended checking out this bike. I am glad I did. Full carbon and Shimano Ultegra groupset at this price is great. Who cares about which corporate conglomerate bike factory in Taiwan made your bike? In the end, it's all about fit.
Strengths: Price, weight, great fit and totally fun to ride.
Weaknesses: The stock saddle was bade for my boy parts. I replaced it with an E3 Ti saddle from Performance, adjusted it, and have had no problems.
