Summary: These are only the second set of tires I've had on this bike, the others being a set of Armadillos. The ride with the Seca's is vastly improved in every respect. Rolling resistance is better, the ride smoother and handling in the dry is very good. I have not had any experience with the tire in the wet.
I was a little concerned about puncture resistance having gone from the Armadillos but so far this has not been a problem. I still like the Armadillos for the ultimate rugged training tire but the Seca RS is a great step up to a racing/training tire that is lighter weight and smoother handling.
Strengths: Price, weight, ride
Weaknesses: None so far

Summary: I only have the Bontrager Hard Case tires to compare these to, but after 1000 miles, these tires show significantly less wear at only half the price. Bontragers, after riding wet roads, would inevitably incur slits and punctures all along the tread. I just road the Secas on a century ride this past weekend on wet roads with coarse gravel chip-n-seal with NO noticeable cuts in the tread. Very impressive. I see what others are saying about the sidewalls, though; they are already beginning to weather-crack.
Strengths: Durable, what low rolling resistance?
Weaknesses: Sidewalls

Summary: Followup review. Intial review excellent all around tire. Now review, Tire is still a good to very good tire. Tires side walls are weak and allow the tire to sqirm. Noticeable in gusty cross winds and on rides in the rain. Probably why others find the rolling resistance is worst than other tires. Tire wears well and has good punchture resistance. Light weight, 120 tpi, and 130 psi tire good. Because of weak side walls tire is alittle squirrelly at times.

Summary: I've been using these tires for a little over a year and love em. Just like all of you I too ride over glass and other road nasties from city living. No punctures and not even a flat. Nice.
Strengths: Long wear, puncture resistance, and they're round
