Price Paid:  $140.00 at Shimano Center

    Favorite Ride:
    uphill-sprints-mixed terrain

    Bike Setup:
    Dura Ace, 3t, FSA-cranks, Ksyrium SLs, Wh-7800.

    Summary:
After switching from Dura Ace 9-speed to 10-speed components, I didn´t want to cut corners, so I spent my money all on genuine Dura Ace parts, for the name did hold true for the 9-speed and it does so for the 10-speed version of this cassette.

I´m surprised it lasts seeminlgy longer, than any 9-speed cassette before and I´ve done ´til now about 15K kilometers on it, many race kilometers, too, and it still shifts smoothly.

The chain had to be replaced two times, since and I´m deeply impressed, because I´m a little heavier than before and did succeed in sprints, more, and the cn-7700 didn´t last as long as the new chain, either.

Shimano holds word, if they say the durability has improved with that cassette, and I´m really keen on getting another one for the great longlasting performance without any issues.

But is this worth the price?-Seems so, to me, (un)fortunately for shimano.

No chain sucks, shifts more percisely, lasts longer.Top product!

    Strengths:
10-speed, smoother shifting, with less wear.
No chain-sucks for ~15K kilometers, which normally should already has happended by far.
i doesn´t semm to eat-op chains like mad, too.
Needde only two chains for the entire period.

    Weaknesses:
Price, if you can´t afford it, if you can, it´s no weakness, but a good investment, imho.

Some 20-50 grams heavier than the 9-speed.

    Similar Products Used:
    Shimano Dura Ace cs-7700, 11-21; 11-23.
    Simano 105 8-speed.

    Summary:
For a non-moving part there is a lot that goes into the design of the cassette. Works well.

    Shifts pretty good.

    Weaknesses:
    WAYYYYYYYY to much $$$$$.
