    Bike Setup:
    Cervelo RS Dura Ace

    Summary:
Read all the reviews and then made purchase. Looked at Stans video on mounting, had little trouble with firt wheel next one went OK. I had to use his sealant to get first mount to stop slow leak so used it on front as well. They still leak down some but no worse than clinchers. Have about 1000 miles and no flats so all is good. They are super quiet, this is one reason they feel so smooth.I settled on #100 for rear and #95 for front works good for my 185 lbs.
I still worry about my first flat , I have a tube and plan to go this route for repair just not 100% confident.I know I will be happy to see more brands of tires to come out,(if ever). This is a good wheel I would not call it a magic ride but most unique.

    Strengths:
    No tubes

    Weaknesses:
    Noubes t

    Price Paid:  $1000.00

    Favorite Ride:
    Tiny Beach Road

    Bike Setup:
    Specialized Tarmac

    Summary:
I agonized between the road tubeless and the C50 and was finally convinced by a friend who had the older version of the tubeless. I'm glad I listened. That and I ride in an area where it's windy a lot and some people with 404s and the like complain about the crosswinds a lot.

I compare the change in the quality of the ride in changing from regular clinchers (Ksyrium w Pro3Race) to these as the same improvement as going from an aluminum frame to a carbon one. The ride is sublime compared to rattling around on my old clinchers. I used to run 95/100psi on my Michelins and now I run 90/95 on the Fusion2 -- not much difference but the ride is *so* much nicer.

They've also seemed to be pretty good for my level of racing -- a few office park crits a year.

If you can get over the vanity boost of the deep carbon wheels you won't be disappointed.

The C24 Tubeless must be a dream -- same like these, but carbon.

    Strengths:
    *Ride quality -- no question
*Look OK for a low profile clincher
    *Dura-Ace hubs...say no more.
*Dura-Ace QR skewers -- the best there is.
*Great value compared to the price of top-end Mavic or others.

    Weaknesses:
*The first mounting can be harder than a standard clincher because of the carbon bead. Notwithstanding I just remounted my tires on them tonight and they went on with the floor pump 1st try, no issues.
    * Limited tire selection, but that will change now that Campag/Fulcrum and Specialized now have tubeless. The Fusion2 tires are pretty nice though.
*I also had a little issue with one wheel but Shimano took care of it NQA.

    Favorite Ride:
    North GA mountains

    Bike Setup:
2009 Wilier Izoard with 2007 SRAM Force components & Dura-Ace brakes.

    Summary:
Great wheels. Along with the required Hutchinson tubeless tires, these wheels are very comfortable (5 - 10 PSI lower than clinchers), have great rolling resistance, are very puncture-resistant, and handle well. They're good in crosswinds and good on climbs, descents, and flats. The only weakness I've found is that they lose air faster than my old Mavic/Michelen proc Race 3 setup. I have not added sealant to them, but I'm considering it.

    Strengths:
Handling, comfort, resistance to crosswinds, relatively light (without tubes), puncture-resistant. If you flat, you can install a tube to to get home.

    Weaknesses:
Lose air faster than clinchers. Either use a sealant, or check pressure before each ride.

    Favorite Ride:
    Santa Cruz Mountains

    Bike Setup:
    Cervelo R3, Dura Ace, Selle Italia Max Flite, Continental GP4000S 23mm & 4-Season 25mm

    Summary:
    I love these wheels!

STIFF: At 6'1" and 180 lbs, I like wheels that are laterally stiff. Nothing irritates me more than getting out of the saddle on a climb and hearing break rub as a flexy wheel rocks back and forth. These 7850SL's are nice and stiff laterally, but they also soak up the bumps of mountain roads and uneven pavement.

STABLE: It's windy around here by the ocean, and nothing ruins a downhill for me like a crosswind and twitchy wheels. The thin, steel spokes on these 7850SL's are invisible to the wind. Perfect. I will never go back to wide, bladed spokes like on my Mavic Ksyrium SLs or R-Sys.

RIDE LIGHT: I am not super weight conscious, but I don't want heavy wheels. The advertised weight of the 7850SL's is around 1515gm. With some Continental 23mm 4000S's, Michelin ultralight tubes, these wheels ride really light. In the fall, I will switch back to my Continental 25mm 4-Seasons, and I'm sure they will feel light, too.

AERO: I've seen data that indicates these wheels are pretty aerodynamic, due to the thin steel spokes. I just did an ironman with these wheels, due to crosswinds, and was very happy with the ride.

    Strengths:
    - Laterally stiff/strong
    - Stable, invisible to crosswinds
    - Ride light
    - Aero? Way more aero than Ksyrium SLs

    Weaknesses:
    - Hubs start off a little tight, takes about 300 miles to smooth out.

    Summary:
This is an update on my last review, I have been riding these wheels for 6 months now and I am blown away, no punctures in this time and I ride close to 175 miles a week or more. The comfort is amazing and the ride quality is breath taking. If you want speed and comfort with punctures this is the way to go. TD
