Price Paid:  $550.00 at Wiggle

Bike Setup:
Orbea Onix 2007, SRAM Rival, FSA Wing compact handlebar, Specialized Toupe team

Summary:
I an not a racer but I do fast group rides in rather hilly terrain. Before I purchased RS-80 I used Mavic Axium (heavy, but otherwise excellent) and Aerohead
Pro (very light but otherwise crappy). RS-80 are al lI wanted. Stiff but comfortable, good acceleration and light enough for climbing. They stayed true for 2000k and seem to be rather durecble

Strengths:
Stiff enough, fast and relatively light

Weaknesses:
Do not turn heads

Similar Products Used:
Mavic Axium
Mavic Ksyrium Elite
Aerohead Pro
Alexrimms AS450

Price Paid:  $632.00 at chainreactioncycles

Bike Setup:
Madone 2008 5 series frame, 7800 dura-ace with Wireless SRM

Summary:
I was so impressed with my previously purchased Shimano WH 7850 50mm deep aero wheels that I decided to purchase another Shimao composite wheel as my non-aero, general riding and windy condition wheels. The RS80s are certainly excellent, with the same Dura Ace rims as the C24s. Build quality is not quite as perfect as the Dura Ace versions and I needed to do a quick touch up of the rear wheel true. However, once done, onto riding. These wheels are great all rounders. One standout is the superb ride quality. These wheels really do soak up road buzz yet retain the qualities of a race level wheel - stiff (but not as stiff as the 50mm rims), very quick acceleration and great climbing. Braking surface is top level. There is a wear indicator on the rim.

Strengths:
Superb ride quality, long rides are non fatiguing.
Excellent all round performance.
Definitely superior all round than Ksyrium SLs
Unbeatable at price

Weaknesses:
none really, but they could have pretensioned the spokes a little better
have not had any truing problems since initial touchup
