$110.00 Favorite Ride: Any smooth long road w/o traffic Bike Setup: SPD-SL Summary: Awesome shoe, typical Sidi quality. I love the way the straps secure inwards. It not only has NOT been a problem, it's an advantage when putting the shoes on and taking them off whether on (tri transitions) or off the bike. I ride hard and these shoes have never let me down. They stay cool in hot weather and the Millinium soles are plenty stiff. I use them with SPD-SL cleats with no problems. If you want a great road shoe for reasonable money... these are the ones. Strengths: Looks, stiffness, ease of use, Sidi quality Weaknesses: None that I've found Similar Products Used: Pearl Izumi

at BIke Nashbar Favorite Ride: Texas Hill Country Bike Setup: 2002 Bianchi Eros with Campy Veloce grouppo. Velocity Spartacus rims with Hutchinson Excel Tires. Selle Italia Pro link Gel saddle with Bontrager race lite seatpost. TIME Equipe pedals. Summary: This is a followup review on these shoes. They are spectacular!!! Great fit and comfort. The reversed placement of the straps is NOT A PROBLEM. In fact, they are NEVER A PROBLEM. I love the suppleness of the material and the power transfer of this shoe Strengths: Material, looks, cost, sole. Weaknesses: NADA Similar Products Used: Ditto, Performance.

Price Paid:
$109.00 Summary: These are the Sidi Dynamic 3's. They are different from the Sidi Dynamic 2's in that they share the Millenium Sole used on more expensive Sidi Shoes. The upper is different as well Really this review is a response to the people that complained about the velco strapping inwards. This works great for triathlons because you can unstrap the velcro while riding and pull your feet out of the shoes. If the strap is hitting the crank, just trim the strap. On their website, Sidi even posts that you can do this. Don't do something silly like add more velcro to the shoe or just plain not buy it because of this. It is a great shoe at a great price. Strengths: Millenium Sole Weaknesses: Was very difficult initially to get Look Cleats into the shoes.

at Nashbar Favorite Ride: Anytime, Anywhere with good cycling pals Bike Setup: Giant Kronos steel bike with Kinesis carbon fork. Full shimano RSX grouppo. Vredstein Ricorso tires on Mavic CXP 10 rims with a Shimano 11/19 "corncob" cassette. TIME Equipe pedals. Selle Italia ProLink Gel Saddle. Summary: Bought these on sale. Have just returned to riding the charity rides such as the MS 150 and just being a "duffer" averaging the 18 to 21 mph range. I use these to replace an old pair of Performance shoes I got in 1995. These babies go on like a fine bedroom slipper. The power transfer is acceptable and they look cool. My first "name Brand shoe" in awhile. Strengths: Comfort and feel. My feet keep up with good circulation and the platform is exceptional. Weaknesses: Still puzzled as to why the velcro goes toward the cranks. However, have not had any serious problems of "spontaneous" strap loosening. TIME adaptor plate is good and not too bulky. Similar Products Used: old pair of Dittos, pair of PERFORMANCE cycling shoes.

at REI- on clearance... Favorite Ride: Ride around clark county..RACC Bike Setup: trek 1220 with shimano rsx and vittoria tires Summary: I realy like these shoes...they fit me well, and I where a size 48 wich tends to make it hard to find cycling shoes...they are lite...fit snug and feel great on my look pedals...they transfer power verry well to the bike. these sould get a higher rating with me if not for the strap problem I talk about below. I got them on clearance so that helps the value rating.:) Strengths: lite weight..snug fit..the soul is plenty stiff to transfer energy quickly to pedals Weaknesses: well here is the only real problem I have with these shoes... the straps go toward the cranks...so that when you ride you slowly loosen the velcro ..I had to add velcro to these shoes to get around this problem...a serious design mistake in my opinion
