at Performance Bike Setup: 2 wheels, frame, bars, seat...the usual stuff. Summary: I wanted something simple. I don't need lap times, max, min, split times or the temp. on the dark side of the moon.
Bottom line is this HRM works, and works well. It gives me everything I need and want to know. It's as dependable as dirt. Strengths: Simple, easy to read, easy to mount on handlebars, comfy strap, user changable batteries. Weaknesses: No light - can't use it when dark. Battery life. If you keep the strap and the reading unit apart when not using them, it's much better. Similar Products Used: Polar, Vetta

at Performance Favorite Ride: Up Summary: I lovvvvve this little budget hr monitor. It works perfectly. Every once and a while, I look down at it on the bars, and it tells me how many times my heart is beating in a minute. That's it. Simple. Reliable. And easssy. A tip, before you strap on the chest thingy, lick the contact section. It helps. Strengths: My heart. Weaknesses: Nothing. Similar Products Used: Fingers.

at Performance Bike Setup: SC-61.10 Ciocc w/Record 10. Summary: Sigma is awesome! I've had this HRM almost three years when I broke the chest receiver. I emailed Sigma to find out where I could buy a new one, and they wrote back saying they'd just sent me one free of charge! Polar who??? Strengths: Takes a beating, mine does have target zones, don't know what these other guys have. Weaknesses: I don't know if this is a weakness, but one of the buttons got stuck about a year ago. I took the back off, put it back together, and then it worked fine. I noticed that I had forgotten to put a little spring back inside, but the dang thing has been working perfectly ever since. Similar Products Used: Radar detectors, infra-red enabled iPAQ, cordless phones.
Right, this is my first HRM.
