7.2 FX WSD - light blue - Shimano - Bontrager- Alvio - WSD Bontrager Saddle- Ultra Slick look.

    Summary:
The Trek 7.2 FX WSD is a nimble entry-level priced hybrid from Trek Bicycles. Equipped nicely with an 8 speed, and handy trigger shifters, not the twist-shifters that cause pain with my tendonitis. 700 C tires keep you rolling fast, I leave my MTB friends in the dust as I roll along the roads. I commute to work 3.5 miles each way, a total of 7.0 miles. This bike gets me there with no problems. I ride in the street and on rough side walks, sometimes gravel, nothing really impedes this bikes progress. It is not built for jumping curbs, has a ridgid front end. I wouldn't be to rough with it. It suits a commuter just fine. Great alternative to a road bike, you don't have to clip in. Good for distance and cardiovasular training.

If I had to pick a down side, the 700C tires require a once a week air fill up (common with skinny tires the bike shop pros have told me.) Also, In my case being of shorter stature - I had to make some radical modifications to accommodate a rear rack due to a lack of mounting brackets on the 43cm model. Shorter women be advised, a bike shop should be able to help. All in all a great bang, for your buck in the hybrid department and I recommend it over all.

    Strengths:
    Great Commuter bike
    Entry-level pricing
    Trek quality
    Fun
    Gas-saver

    Weaknesses:
No front shocks - rigid - limits use to smooth pavement.

    Could stand more gears.

No rack mounts on 43cm. model - short gals need to carry cargo too.
