| | Bike Setup: De Bernardi Thron OS with Campy/Shimano smattering Summary: Let it be noted that I have the Pro-Team Open Extreme twin treads, which are about 2 years old. They don't say anything about kevlar on them, so I believe these to be older model tires. Anyways, the ride quality is great on these tires. They seem to be more supple than the standard Continental Grand Prix I was running (old type, not the silly colored or 3000 models). The few wet rides I did on them traction held up well, but that may be due to my conservative riding in the rain. I did notice tonight that the casing ripped clear through on a long ride from yesterday. I'm a little dissapointed in this, but I guess from a full on racing tire long haul durability is given up for weight. The newer kevlar lining models would probably take care of this cut.
Strengths: ride quality traction in wet conditions Weaknesses: durability (see below!) Similar Products Used: conti's and michelin
