Strength:

reliable and fast tire

Weakness:

none

I wonder why there are no reviews for this tire. All the reviews are so outdated and for older tires. I decided This tire deserves a review, after 5000 miles on my rear wheel with no flats throughout the winter season I give it a 5 out of 5.
Reliable, trustworthy, fast, and lightweight (225 grms new, not only 205 grams). I wish I could retread it. I am still using it, lets see how long it will last.

Good grip

Poor wear

Did not last three months! Bought this tire to replace the older Vredestein Tri-Comp that were given to me with a better but used wheel set. It did not last the summer!

Ouch at the MSRP price I felt cheated. No tire, even the manufacturer's tire on my Specialized Elite lasted longer. (Yes, I had to check the mileage twice as I could not believe this...) That is barely a season for a rider. If I knew this I would have dived into the dumpster to get my old tires. My original wheel-set had begun to fail from corrosion, the tires were fine!

Durability.... Well after a shell nicked my tires and punctured my tube. I am not impressed. Last time that happened I switched to a Kevlar tire as the shells along the road back then were a real hazard. This is a semi-groomed path, no cars, with occasional debris, and is a pleasure to ride.

As for speed these tires are good but would not want to use them on commutes. Does handle the rain but if you have to dodge pebbles it is not a commute but an obstacle course! Many other website have claimed they are great. I am skeptical. I replaced the tire with the All weather again. If this one is a fluke I will pass on All weather Senso.

Went for the larger 25c this summer hoping to decrease wear too. (wider tire: larger contact point assuming same weight and thus should decrease overall wear... NOT) Was told to use the higher 125psi on these and did. No help.

My advice. If you are racing on a clean path in wet weather go for them. Commuters and people who want to ride two thousand miles... Don't hold your breath. As of yet I am not impressed with the All Weather Fortezza Senso.
