at Ebay Favorite Ride: Usery Pass Bike Setup: Giant carbon OCR (54 year old rider)with DA 9 speed shifters, FSA Carbon Pro compact crank, Token BB with ceramic bearings, FSA K-wing bars, Easton EC 90 carbon seat post. Total weight under 16 lbs. Personally built up, great ride. Bypass Bob in AZ. Summary: THis is my third set of Xero wheels. Previous 2 sets were xr-1's, which are great lite wheels for the money (1,520gms). THe Airy XLR's are stiffer, lighter (1,420gms), great looking, and still ride great. Rider is 170lbs. Strengths: Very lite weight for the price. 1,420 gms/set. Coupled with a Token Ti 120 gram cassette, these wheels spin up fast and are great hill climbers. Weaknesses: Comes with a new 10 speed only freehub. I had a machine shop shave down the freehub ribs to accomodate my 9 speed cassette and Dura Ace set-up. Easy fix for $20! Similar Products Used: Xero xr-1's (2 sets), Xero xr-3, American Classic.
