Merckx quality name. Nice relaxed ride, especially at speed. Frame is stiff where it matters (bottom bracket), but absorbes minor road bumps very nicely - much more comfy than Aluminum, and not as spongy as Carbon. This bike climbs well, and descends even better. Titanium frame will last forever!
While not a weakness, this bike does not have aggressive geometry common to criterium bikes that dart in peletons and around city corners with slight movement of the hips. And the laid-back "century" geometry may make it harder for those use to spinning high RPM's. Also, lighter frames are made today than the TiAx.
I've been a racer, and now that I'm into my 40's just get out a lot and ride. I've ridden everything from old 531 steel, to the TVT Carbon, to an Eddy TSX. The TiAx is the best bike yet, and arguably the finest bike I have ever ridden. Perfectly balanced, smooth, light and responsive. I absolutely love it. It makes me want to get out and just ride. Especially in the hills where it climbs well, and descends even better. This frame has the relaxed "Century" geometry like many older European bikes. It is NOT a "twitchy" criterium bike.

Light, firm, comfy, it is an Edy Merckx!
No super stiff less responsive than most new aluminum frames, a tad heavy by todays newer stuff..whole bike about a poubnd or two heavier than my brothers Cannondale SI2000
The bike is soooo sweet firm, smooth like a sporty car. Solid down hills no flex when Push the big gear just goes fast and in style.....great bike no flaws.
