Strength:

This frame eats up the vibration but almost no hint of flex despite a pounding.

Weakness:

Original components were inexpensive

I have an old CFR One, bought 10 years ago, a great frame. Strong and light, very much ahead of its time. The fork is awesome.

Strength:

Very rigid bottom bracket. I'm 6'2" and generally weigh about 180 to 185. I can stand on it going up 10+% grades with no noticeable flex.

Weakness:

It doesn't seem to change directions lateraly (sp?) quite as quickly as the steel frames but it's close (and it may just be due to the fact that I've gotten older).

Like the previous reviewer this is for the CFR Team rather than the CFR1. I'm an ex-Road Racer (cat3) and I sure wish I'd had this when I was competing. Up until this frame I'd only ridden steel and this is a great improvement. Much lighter and stiffer and transmits less road shock. If you can find one in your size grab it.

Strength:

Not as lively a feel as steel but better than a Trek OCLV. Very comfortable on long rides. Very stiff bottom bracket and so it''s good in sprints and climbs. I''ve ridden OCLVs as well as the ride quality and behavior compare very well.

Weakness:

Seems relucant to follow my line on technical downhills. I have to concentrate more than I think I should. It could be just my skills, though.

This review is on a uniquely setup CFR Team, not a CFR-1, as there is no entry for the CFR Team. I bought the frame and fork on an eBay auction and built it up myself. Very good for casual and training rides as well as racing.
