The CO-Motion Co-Pilot is our third tandem. We've enjoyed all our tandems, but have been most fond of the Co-Motion product. I think the thing that sets our experience with Co-Motion apart from the other custom tandems we've owned has been the quality of interaction with the people who run the business. Fit is so important in purchasing a tandem. I'm tall enough that I rarely find any bike that fits me out of the box, much less a tandem. Dwan at Co-Motion worked with us very patiently to dial in the geometry of our new machine. After reviewing a CAD drawing of the bike, the tandem was built and arrived on the scheduled date. Craftsmanship was above what I expected. We hear lots of positive comments about the bike wherever we go. The Chromolusion paint is really a knockout. Handling is fantastic. The most stable tandem at speed I've ridden. Frame alignment is dead on, resulting in shifting comparable to any high end single roadbike. Parts kit really works. I put my bias on parts on the backburner on this bike and let Dwan spec it for me. The result was that everything worked! I highly recommend Co-Motion. It was nice working with such a well organized small company. You really feel the love of the sport when you talk with the staff. The person welding your frame is an enthusiast and it shows.
