Empella Bonfire SL 2003 Cyclocross Bike

Empella Bonfire SL 2003 Cyclocross Bike

DESCRIPTION

Empella's Ad van Empel finally reveals the brand new Bonfire SL. Three years in the making, the new Bonfire SL promises to be a big hit with the Spaar Select team and customers as well. This new frame is made from a triple butted 7003 tubeset with custom profiles. Note: Color is a beautiful pearl white with a multi-color sheen that really plays tricks with you eyes in the sunlight (notice the dark blue headtube lettering has a purple tone).

Strength:

Light weight and handling

Weakness:

The carbon fork can get into some pretty violent oscillations (fore/aft) when braking very hard.

Overall, this is a great bike. It rides very well, is very light, and has exceptionally good handling (but what would you expect from someone that only makes 'cross bikes)
