Price, Vents, Straps, Ratcheting Size Adjustment

Bought it 2 months ago and so far have used it in about a dozen rides. Since it's currently spring here in the East Coast, the ride temperatures have ranged from 40°F to 65°F and between cloudy to sunny. Have no experience yet in riding under the scorching summer heat, but will assume that the generous number of vents, topped by the whale-mouth-like opening in the forehead area would be enough to let in more air to cool anyone's noggin.

Price point for the Align is very attractive, smack in the middle of those CPSC-certified helmets that are available at any Big Box stores and the so-called "entry level" helmets that are being offered by cycling stores. The straps of the Align are well-made and doesn't scrub against the skin that could get irritated. The ratchet-type mechanism that allows the wearer to make the helmet snug is well-made and holds the set position even if the ride becomes a bit jarring. It also comes with a removable visor which in a way this helmet caters to either a road cyclist, a mountain biker, or a commuter.

The only feature that some riders might not like is its bulkiness compared to other helmets made by competitors. I personally like the way it looks. My perception is that its size is meant to protect my body's precious part so I'm all for it. Highly recommended.
