Strength:

~Light, at 258 grams(no visor)
~Chin strap design never binds your ears
~Dial-in fit perfectly
~Looks the business

Weakness:

None

Why pay nearly $300 for an S-Works Prevail...when the S3 does nearly everything for less? The wide, Mega Port front vents channel cool air straight to your sweaty temple, with incredible efficiency. On full-tuck descents - the S3 shines, as air resistance is unobstructed while creating a cool "whoosh" sound. Chances are, you'll never notice you're even wearing a helmet, with the light S3.

Leave the Prevail for sponsored racers and those who have deeper pockets. Us mere mortals will find the S3 more than adequate for daily needs. By the way - the S3 still trumps the Catlike Whisper, Giro Ionos, Met Sinthesis, and Uvex FP 3.0 by a very comfortable margin. Snap the included visor on and mountain bike duty is handled with incredible practicality. If you only want ONE HELMET to do it all.....the Specialized S3 is it.

Believe me - I've tried them ALL..and I approve this message.
