Specialized S-Works 6 Shoes

Specialized S-Works 6 Shoes

DESCRIPTION

The advantages of the next generation S-Works 6 shoe can be summed up in two simple phrases—explosive speed and superior comfort. The speed comes as a direct result of great fit and better connection, delivering more efficiency and power to the pedal. The new PadLock heel, combined with revolutionary strong and lightweight materials in the upper, creates a snug fit that is incredibly secure. Result? You have a shoe that helps transfer more of your energy into the pedals when you crank up the watts. Add to that the legendary performance and adjustability of the dual-Boa® closure system and the S-Works 6 becomes more than just a shoe, it allows you and your bike to work seamlessly together with maximum efficiency.

Out of the box, this shoe is hands down the best that I have ever worn in my 23 years of cycling. These shoes truly are a game changer in the high end road shoe segment. In my opinion the biggest feature of any of the Specialized shoes is the Body Geometry Fit features. The shoes allow enough room for the correct insoles without taking up excess room and making the shoe feel too small. The padlock heelcup feels awesome out of the box. It is the most secure heelcup of any shoe that I have worn. It enables the rider to execute explosive efforts without hesitation or compromise. With only a few rides the last has molded to my feet creating a custom feel with out having to go through a custom fit process like other brands. Sole stiffness and power transfer the new industry and segment standard in high performance road shoes. The BOA dial retention system is unmatched by any other retention system. On bike adjustment of tension and fit can be done with a click of a dial and can be executed in a group with confidence and minimal time with the hand off of the bars. Roomier toe box from previous model is a dramatic change for the better. This gives a roomier area for the front of the foot to move around and alleviate and issues with numbness of the toes. Though setup is super easy. I found that to get perfectly dialed in, I went to my local Body Geometry Fit Certified fitter to get the cleats properly dialed in and correct insoles prescribed. Since my fit I have seen an increase in power output with these shoes and increased ride comfort in all aspects of riding. You can not go wrong with these shoes. The price is well justified once you ride with them.
