Strength:

Waterproof in light to moderate rain for short rides.

Weakness:

1.I rode 6 miles the other night in heavy rain. My pants underneath and underwear were soaked with only a couple of dry patches. 2. Pants are too hot. Ideal for light rain in temps of 35-45. Anything colder it snows and warmer they are too hot. 3. They are also bulky, so allow like a half gallon milk container to store them, which ultimately makes you unlikely to tuck them in your bag for your daily commute so you end up getting caught in afternoon downpours.
4. Pricey.
5. I've only worn them a half dozen times and seams inside are coming apart.

Had these eVent pants for about a year and I ride all winter in NY city. Pants are comfortable but are too warm and heavy and not very waterproof.
