Excellent wear and shifting.

Weakness:

Slightly more pricy then DA (9-sp) but think it's worth it.

No complaints. Excellent shifting performance. Better wear then I expected with a 13-26. I use all the gears as I do many hilly areas and I think that helps even out the wear. I'm surprised the Ti cogs are wearing as well, over 5k miles on cassette (and record chain) so I'm expecting may have to change soon .. but so far it's exceeded my expectations on wear. Use a dry lube and I think that helps on wear.

Decent weight.

Weakness:

Poor wear of the ti cxogs and the chain is a joke that in 2003 Campy still hasn't figured out how to build a chain which can be easily disassembled without using a $60 chain tool.

The two ti cogs wear very quickly, ti is simply not a good material choice in this type of application and no way 30 grams saved is gonna make you a faster racer, your living in a total dreamworld if you believe that for even a minute. Is Campy or Shimano ever going to come up with current day technology chain link which doesn't require a tool to disasemble a chain like SRAM?

I recently switched from the record ti/steel cassette to an all steel cassette. In addition I completely abandoned that crappy Campy 10 sped chain and started using a 9 speed SRAM PC89R chain on my Ca

Great shifting. Like another guy said: it's campy, what else needs to be said.

Weakness:

Doesn't most all things worth having cost more than we want them to?

I don't understand the other folks problems with this cassette. The ti one is bound to be a problem because ti just doesn't do friction too well. This cassette, on the other hand shouldn't be a problem. The chain has thus far been the weak link(no pun intended) in the 10 spd group. I'm on my third chain(I kicked down for the Wipperman Stainless Steel chain this time) with this cassette & everything works flawlessly. I raced from April to September on this cassette last year & have been logging miles all winter on it(knock on wood).

Smooth shifting, quiet.

Weakness:

Wears quickly.

No real complaints with this setup, other than it wears pretty quickly. But I decided with this bike that I wanted a full-on Division One racing machine. With that comes a much bigger price tag at every step. I rode a Confente Masi for 22 years with original Dura-Ace, and hardly ever had to replace anything. But I have to say that there has been some improvement made on the basic bike since 1977, and I am willing to bear the cost because it puts one big smile on my face. If only the weather here was more cooperative...

These cassettes rule. Others are doing something way wrong if thet are having trouble. If you replace your chain regularly it lasts forever!

Way to exspensive for the everyday rider. I will never buy Campy again. For the difference in ride quailty, it doesn''''t make sense to go in debit just to buy a new chain and cassette. And then the special chain link they say you need that retails for 14.95? What''''s that all about?

light, good looks,

Weakness:

Chain wear (<1,000 miles between changes) and cassette wear (3,500 miles before 2 of the ten cogs were useless)

First bike I've had that didnt have down tube shifters... so very happy with the new system. The cost of changing chains and cassettes however is going to be a problem, wishing now that I had gone dura ace.

10 speed: Light, allows 10 speed drivetrain.

Weakness:

Titanium can wear quickly, though I haven't seen any problems with mine. The range is narrower than it needs to be with 10 cogs.

There are cassettes with mixed ti and steel and a cost is no object all ti cassette. Mine is the mixed variety. It has worked fine, but you might do as I do and use a 10 speed Chorus all steel cassette for training rides. It works fine.

There is no equivalent to the 12/27 Shimano cassette. I use a 12/25, but sometimes I miss the 27 tooth cog. If you want a lower gear, there is a 13/29 cassette, but I want the 12 tooth cog and that cassette requires a special long cage derailleur that I imagine shifts slower. I love the Campy 10 speed gruppo overall, I'm leukwarm about the cassettes.

Weakness:

Do not use this cogset for anything other than racing. The titanium cogs are really wimpy. I tore up three cogs on this cassette in less than 1100 miles! I think that Campy in its quest for lightness has once again overlooked quality and safety (remember those hole drilled seatposts?).

For my THIRD cassette, I chose to go with the chorus because it is all steel. This cogset is garbage. I would not even choose to purchase one for racing due to its lack of reliability (even though I get a team discount). Oh and Campy was real helpful. Get this. They suggested that I get a larger cassette and that I stay out of those THREE gears. I got the cassette to SUIT my riding style as a sprinter NOT CHANGE IT! Why would I get anything bigger than an 11-23 when I live in INDIANA! Like there is somewhere flatter in the world. Did I forget to mention that I weigh a whopping 175 lbs.? THANKS CAMPY.
