Strength:

Stiff strong and good looking.

Weakness:

Mega Exo bottom bracket sucks big time...

I swapped out a Ultegra 10 speed triple crankset with 12-27 cassette for the FSA SLK Light Mega Exo 50/34
crankset with an XT 11-32 cassette. Shifting is much better...
Also installed a new Ultegra 6800 bottom bracket which seems to work just fine with this crankset.

Strength:

I really like the looks and feel of this crank. It's light.

Weakness:

The proprietary BB...Not real keen on this kind of BS.

The cranks have not been bad at all. When I got the bike I disassembled the crank and removed the BB and applied antisieze, grease and Loctite where it was needed and re-torqued everything. No problem after 1100 miles.

Strength:

-Lightweight
-Smooth Shifting
-Stiff
-Nice looking crank

Weakness:

-None yet but I will revisit after around 1500 mi.

I read both very positive and very negative reviews on this product. More positive than negative but had concerns and almost canceled my original order. As I called around and talked to a few mechanics who install a lot of FSA stuff, I came away with the conclusion that the majority of the bad reviews were associated with installations not being done quite right. To install this crank correctly you have to reface your bottom bracket, torque everything per spec and make sure you use teflon tape and loctite as per the instructions. You can't depend on the one grunt-two grunt torque system but need the correct tools. Crank shifts well, spins well and is light. Didn't notice any flex in the big ring and feel the crank is very solid over all.
